Outdoor Communion Service
On Saturday, October 3rd at 4 PM we will host an outdoor communion service. It is a “bring your own chair and social distance” event. We will have special communion preparations, including offering communion elements of bread and juice in one sealed packet to minimize the danger of infection. It will be a brief service with recorded music and a brief message as we gather in a field outside the church.
It’s important that we are together as we receive this sacrament. We hope you will join us and invite a friend and family member. I recommend that when you can, please check out the song, “Come to the Table,” on You Tube, by Sidewalk Prophets; it’s one of my favorite Christian songs and one we are likely to use during the service. The rain date is the next day, Sunday, October 4 at 4PM.
In addition to the communion service, we will also offer our regular worship at 9:30 on Sunday morning, October 4, broadcasted on Facebook.
