BIBLE STUDY WITH PASTOR JIM MUNDELL
Mondays, September 13th through November 29th
Pastor Jim will lead a Bible study on the book of 1st Peter. It will be held on Mondays beginning September 13 at 6:30 PM in the sanctuary.
This book of only 5 chapters holds helpful information to help us live as Christians in a secular world. 1 Peter was written during the reign of Nero in Rome, in which Christians were persecuted. It has a theme of “victory over suffering” as experienced by Christ.
Peter addresses the doctrines of Christianity to the newly converted Jews, persuading them to live a holy life, and a faithful live, and prepares them for possible suffering by encouraging them to be patient and persevere in their faith in Christ.
