Chancel Choir Cantata–“Amazing Love!” Palm Sunday, April 2, at the 11:00 worship service. The life and ministry of Jesus is characterized by His extraordinary love for others. Our cantata– Amazing Love! walks us down the road to the cross as we re-count the final hours of our Lord’s life when He was rejected, mocked, beaten, and ultimately cru-cified by the very people He had come to redeem. Jesus’ own words served as a foretelling of what was to come: Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends. (John 15:13) This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (I John 4:9-10) That is truly an amazing kind of love!
